FIRST POST

So this is my attempt to become a blogger of maybe once or twice a week. I think with the way the media is trending to blogging I should follow suit. Although, I am not hip on trends and following the crowd. This blog is meant for just about anything and everything related to myself or people around me. So expect posts relating to me getting married in oh, less than a month and a half (Oct 17th, 2009) to sports, to movies.

The title "Out of Left Field" is just what this blog is. Anything and everything. Yes, I also participated in many different sports over my lifetime. I played Soccer until 8th grade (no photo) I played baseball since I was 8 till the end of high school where I also made an Iowa State Baseball Tournament appearance in 2004. Where I went 0-3 with a walk and a stolen base. Yea, I'm proud of the fact that I helped my team get there by starting a huge rally in the sub-state final game. Wish I would have made the routine plays in the only game at state we played. No---I am not an expert at photoshop and I don't even own it so if you can't stand the crappy edit job of some of my images. Deal with it. That's me. I can't stand it either but I got shaky mouse syndrome.

After, hs I went to Bethel University in St. Paul, Mn where I tried to play baseball and ended up not making the team. I'm over it. Moved on, but still wish I could play somewhere. It was at college where I began to play disc golf more and more and developed a love for the game. (Kevin Costner does not show up) but I definitely enjoy it. Oh yea, I graduated from Bethel in the standard 4yrs with about a billion dollars in loan debt cause I got no help except from willing student loan agencies to give me money and now are all knocking at the door expecting payments from an unemployed college grad.

Biggest Things In Life at the Moment:
1. Getting Married to my best friend Joslyn
2. Finding a Full-time teaching job
3. Adjusting to not living with "room-mates"
4. Fantasy-Football (although really has no-kingdom value)

I'm sure the list could continue down the page, but it would get boring and monotonous.

I think this is a good first post. Looking forward to more posts.
